Addiction and the Family:An Online Course for Faith Leaders

 

Addiction and the Family: An Online Course for Faith Leaders is designed to especially for faith leaders to provide you with basic information about alcoholism and drug dependence, and also give you practical approaches to help those people in  your congregation and your community who are suffering from the imapct of these diseases.  

The course contains the following modules:

  • Module 1  - Introduction
  • Module 2  - Recognizing Addiction
  • Module 3  - Spiritual Care of Addicted Persons and Families
  • Module 4  - Understanding the Impact of Addiction on Oneself and the Community
  • Module 5  - The Role of the Community in Recovery

There will be a short quiz after each module.  Upon successfully competion of the course you will be able to print out a certification of completion. The course will provide three (3) contact hours of education.
